Prof. Dr. Mehmet Tanyaş

He was born in 1954 in Eskişehir. In 1982, he received his Ph.D. Degree from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Industrial Engineering. From 1983 to 2006, he worked as a lecturer in ITU Industrial Engineering Department, and as the Head of the International Logistics Department at Okan University between 2006 and 2010. He is currently the Head of the International Trade and Logistics Management Department at Maltepe University. In 2001, he founded the Logistics Association (LODER). His areas of expertise are Stock and Warehouse Management, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management, and he provided project and consultancy services to many institutions and organizations on related subjects. He has many national and international publications and has given training to many organizations. He is currently a member of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) Transportation and Logistics Sub-Commission and the TUSIAD Foreign Trade Working Group.
